Do I need an SQL license?
MSDE does not require an SQL license.  However, MSDE does have a limitation on the total number of concurrent users accessing the database.  Squash 'Em does not keep an open connection with the database.  Our recommendation is for you the user to decide if you will have enough Squash 'Em users to warrant an SQL license.  To simplify the installation of MSDE, we have created our MSDE installer.  You can get it from our Download page.
